FILM WORK - A Dream Realised
back in 2019, while I was at tafe studying for my certificate IV in film production. I was provided with an opportunity to work on a little movie you may have heard of Mortal Kombat(2020). I was initially hired as an assistant Concept model maker, making textured scale models of set design plans to be 3D scanned, for the construction crew to make the skeleton shape of the sets. I was then provided with the opportunity to stay and work in the props department til the end of filming, cleaning up silicone moulded props for painting, weathering props and making storage/ transporting cases for all the weapon props.
